FAQ

What does Early Access pricing mean?

When Pro self-service subscriptions open, Early Access pricing will be $5.99/month or $59.99/year. This is a special price while the product is still expanding. Future public pricing may change, but early subscribers lock in the current price and will not be affected by later price increases.

What is Guest Mode, and how is it different from a free account?

Guest Mode is the no-registration experience in the app. The first time you open RideKip, you do not need an account. You can create trips, enter passenger details, and view the calendar. Trip count is not hard-limited. Guest Mode has no standalone customer library; passenger name and phone are entered directly in each trip, and data stays on the device. Receipts and message templates require a Free Account.

After creating a Free Account, you can manage up to 30 customers, use basic receipt preview/share, use fixed message templates, keep 3 months of history, and enable cloud sync plus web access. Guest data can be imported after signup.

Will the free plan stay free?

Yes. Free Forever is a long-term free plan, not a trial. We believe the free plan should support a real business workflow instead of forcing payment through broken basics.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. After Pro paid access is opened, you can cancel through the relevant payment channel with no penalty. You keep Pro features until the current billing period ends, then return to Free Forever. Your data stays saved.

Will I lose data after downgrading from Pro?

No. Data is not deleted. Data beyond free limits, such as more than 30 customers or history older than 3 months, is kept on the server, but access is limited. Upgrade again and full access returns.

When will Team launch?

Team is for small fleets and family teams, with multi-driver collaboration, shared customers, dispatching, and team calendars. It is planned but not part of the MVP. For team needs, please contact us to learn more.
